Angela qualified as a Solicitor in September 2000 and has worked for Swain & Co for over ten years.  She became an Associate in 2006.

Angela is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel Accreditation Scheme (Children Representative) and acts for children and parents in Care proceedings and other public law proceedings (adoption, special guardianship cases, contact with children in care etc).  Also a member of Resolution.

Her work in mainly publicly funded, acting for parents where Local Authorities have applied to the Courts for Care Order, or simply advising parents where Children Services have become involved but have yet to apply to the Courts (for example initial assessments, child protection and child in need concerns).

Angela attended the University of Staffordshire where she studied Law and Geography.  Thereafter she attended the College of Law in Guildford where she completed the Legal Practice Course.
