Jenny Smedley specialises in Prison Law and Criminal Appeals and also became a Criminal Appeals Supervisor in 2011.

Jenny trained with Swain & Co and qualified as a Solicitor in 2011.

Her particular interests include appeals of sentence and conviction, in particular indeterminate sentences.

Jenny represents clients at all types of prison hearings including parole, recall and adjudication hearings.  In addition she advises clients on all aspects of prison law.

Jenny has a 2:1 degree in LLB Law from Nottingham Trent University and the Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Guildford.

She is a qualified member of the Institute of Prison Law.

Personal interests include shopping, cinema, reading and has a particular interest in Tudor history.
