We have achieved the legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management once again this year.
Swain & Co Solicitors have once again passed the Lexcel Assessment with flying colours.
Lexcel is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for Law Firms. The firm undergoes this audit every year to make sure that they are complying with all the relevant procedures and providing the highest level of care and service when assisting their clients.
The Head of Business Support, Julie Painter has done a tremendous job in preparing the firm for this audit once again and has been praised by the Lexcel assessor as well as by the directors of the firm following this achievement. Julie has commented that the firm’s success is due to the collaborative support of all colleagues.
In particular, it was noted how well the firm and the management acted and responded to the COVID-19 Pandemic. All colleagues have been well informed throughout the lockdown and the firm’s investment in IT equipment prior to the lockdown enabled the majority of teams to continue to work remotely keeping them, our clients and the wider community safety and reducing risks.
The assessor was very impressed by the firm’s actions towards the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into force in 2018.
Samantha Lee, Managing Director of Swain & Co Solicitors had this to say,
“I am incredibly proud of our whole team for their commitment and efforts in making sure that we run our cases to the highest standards with the best possible client care. It is always nice for those efforts to be rewarded and the Lexcel Quality Standard is the Law Society’s recognition of a firm’s performance. Well done to everyone for successfully sailing through this year’s audit”
