100 Miles in May for Mind!
This May, Melanie, Emily, Kara, Emma and Jenny from our Mental Health team took on the challenge to each complete 100 Miles in May for mental health charity Mind.
Combined with this year’s Mental Health Awareness week’s theme of nature, we laced up our boots and got outside with our outstanding support team of friends, family, and of course Olive and Shelby, our resident balls of fluff. Over our 100 miles we walked and talked about our own mental health and found reconnecting with nature was a great way to clear our own heads and unwind. We are so proud to have smashed our fundraising target and raised £710 so far for this worthy cause – though, of course, if you would like to donate, every pound is gratefully received and you can do so here. A huge thank you to everyone who has generously donated so far.
As a team, we represent some of the most vulnerable people in our society and are passionate advocates for all things mental health. We were keen to raise money and awareness for Mind, given the amazing work they do to improve people’s lives. If you or someone you love is struggling with their mental health, Mind offer extensive resources including guides to support services, mental health conditions and tips for everyday living.
