Pay As You Go legal fees | Family solicitor options from Swain & Co Solicitors
This is a funding option to enable you to represent yourself and to obtain advice on the law and process as and when you need it.
At Swain & Co Solicitors we understand that at times of emotional upheaval and financial uncertainty you will need expert face to face legal advice that does not come with the additional worry of a huge or unexpected price tag.
Many people are therefore representing themselves and we can help you.
With this is mind, we offer a service which allows you to pay for legal advice as and when you need it.
How it works:
Traditionally, legal advice involves a solicitor acting for you and charging a fee for every action taken on your case whether writing a letter, receiving a phone call or preparing a document.
Our Pay As You Go scheme enables you to take control of your costs by paying for advice when needed or for us to take specific steps to assist you with your case.
There will be no unexpected charges. You pay on the day for the time spent with us.
You will be representing yourself and will therefore be the first point of contact and the one in control of your case. You will do all the paperwork and administration saving your funds to pay to see our divorce lawyers when you really need to, keeping your costs down.
What we will do:
We will meet with you when needed to discuss your case and provide advice to guide you through the process.
We will give clear advice to help you with the detail and strategy required to pursue your case. Each meeting will help you take the next steps to progress your case yourself.
We will keep a note of all our meetings with you and record what was discussed.
If at anytime during your case you would like us to take a specific step, such as prepare a document or represent you at a hearing, we will do this for a fixed fee.
If you would prefer our full representation service, we will accept monthly payments to enable you to budget for payment of your costs.
If you feel you need additional advice and assistance, you can transfer to our full representation service at any time.
We offer free initial advice as standard, so contact us NOW to discuss in detail how our Your Case, Your Way scheme can work for you.
