Kate is Head of Housing and Court of Protection Law at Swain & Co Solicitors. She has expertise in all aspects of housing law, and litigate across a broad range of housing cases ranging from disrepair claims and counterclaims to possession proceedings, landlord and tenant disputes, judicial review, defending tenants in possession claims by public and private landlords, review/appeals relating to local authority decisions on homelessness, unlawful eviction and harassment cases.
Kate says, " I have extensive experience of defending tenants in possession cases up to the Court of Appeal, including under public law principles, the Human Rights Act 1998 and the Equality Act 2010.
