Kimmo Boote is a Clinical Negligence/Personal Injury Lawyer based in our Havant office.
Kimmo joined Swain and Co in January 2020, having spent the previous 5 years working at a Firm in Bournemouth in their clinical negligence team. Kimmo has worked in the legal sector since 1998, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2006.
Kimmo has assisted hundreds of claimants over the last 20 years or so – securing compensation that would total in the millions.
Kimmo has experience of a wide range of different claims, including cosmetic surgery mistakes, delayed diagnosis and treatment of different types of cancer, fatal claims, amputations, foot-drop and other catastrophic injuries arising from either delayed/misdiagnosis or surgical error. More recently Kimmo has experience working on cauda equina and childbirth injuries – including cerebral palsy, brachial plexus and hip dysplasia.
Prior to specialising in Clinical Negligence, Kimmo spent many years working as a personal injury lawyer at Law Firms in Hampshire and Dorset. Kimmo has built up a wealth of experience and professional contacts over the years, and prides himself on being able to deliver a courteous, efficient and thorough service to all his clients. Kimmo is happy to meet clients either at the office, or at their homes should that be more convenient.
Outside of work Kimmo enjoys spending time with his two sons, as well as playing football, golf and cricket ( being a long standing member of the Bournemouth and District Law Society team ) and also surfing and long coastal walks – when time allows !
